Overall Satisfaction with Pure Storage FlashArray

Pure Storage is being used organization-wide. It is the primary storage for our Production virtualization workload.

Pros

  • Compression/Dedup.
  • Simple setup and management.
  • Quick turnaround times on VM deployment.
  • 0 downtime for updates.
Our experience with support has always been one of the best.
We did not have any to compare, as we were just looking at traditional SANs at the time.
Well suited to:
  • Mission-critical workloads.
  • High IOPS.
Less appropriate:
  • For small companies, price may be a concern.
