Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Track data to see trends and make adjustments as well as identify events that can become hidden without looking at the data in a larger population. Build different reports to set up cost justification. Monitor process control data over time in order to identify potential quality issues that may need to be corrected.

Pros and Cons

Easy to drill into data from annual into hourly.
Easily customizable.
Links well with multiple data sources.

Takes too long to get comfortable with navigating around and using.
It doesn't feed into presentations well or I haven't figured out how to do it the way I want.

Reduced reliance on observation and pointed us to data.
Improves accountability.

Likelihood to Recommend

Qlik is well suited for data collection and display. It is a lagging metric tool but needs more work done around the 'Insights' tool to assist with understanding what the data is telling us. An artificial intelligence tool added to this data would take this to the next level.
