Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

Quickbase is being used in ALL our departments. It centralizes our orders and tickets which is great because it is a relational database.

Pros

  • It relates data/records between tables
  • Allows different roles to be able to see what they are only allowed to see
  • Very easy to create a custom database for most company needs
  • Reporting is simple and fast to generate

Cons

  • Table space can run out significantly fast depending on how large your business is
  • We use this for inventory and tracking spend for some of our clients in which it has helped make sales
  • The quick creation of the application has helped us generate sales
  • With our growing business, it is fairly easy to add products and adapt to change
Quickbase is extremely easy to use and can be customized using html, javascript etc.
What are the limitations is a great question. Also, make sure to have a way to archive data just in case you need to free up space.

Using QuickBase

To be honest, all our data has been in there for years. Changing platforms would be expensive. QuickBase is easy to use, so why not?
