Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase
We utilize quickbase to manage our seed inventory, track orders and also for shipping of product.
- Easy to understand and utilize - I set up the system for our company with no programming needed.
- I say it is like Excel on steroids. I was doing all of the functions previously on spreadsheets. To utilize the system I started but uploading those files and it built from there.
- Security allows for people to have access to only their information, but also allows mgmt to have full view with no edit capability.
- Security levels are cumbersome to set up - you have to do almost one by one to get each user to see their view.
- Customizing the look - adding logos and such is a little more complex than it needs to be.
Very much so, as mentioned before I was able to set up myself.
Ease of use
I was able to replace a programmer designed system that was costing our company 5X what Quickbase does. Furthermore if we wanted changes it was always a 3-6 month process. Now I am the only thing standing between updates to the field.

I make updates all the time to our system. It is wonderful to be able to add a needed data field or generate a new report on the fly.
