Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

It is used per department - allows us to track customer related problems.
  • Speedy table creations
  • Cloud based - no need to worry about redundancy
  • Reports - lacks drill down tables, and other style tables that can be found in applications like SQL server reporting services (SSRS)
Yes - without a double rapid building, and ease of maintaining has helped.
Faster to deploy that SQL server. Also eliminates the need to create a large infrastructure for backups and redundancy - especially in a global environment.
No additional IT help needed. Actually might have been the easiest part!

I never used a quickbase provided application - but rather created by own. The speed/turn around time to deliver results to my management was quick, and I was able to focus on the business logic/rules rather than the complexities of creating the underlying database.
QuickBase is well suited for rapidly creating tables, and basic reports. I don't think it is well suited for completing complex reports. The automatic emailing of reports is also great.
