Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

We used QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise for paying our vendors, bank reconciliations, and budgeting. We utilize the budgeting for our board meetings and present financial reports to the board. It is exceptional because it can easily be exported to Excel and modified to show the data needed.

Pros

  • Updates on time
  • Data for financial reports anyway you want it
  • Bank Reconciliation

Cons

  • Anytime there is a change then a notice needs to be sent
  • The PDF format for bank recs changed and I don't like it
  • More filters to create special reports
  • There is no negative impact, only positive.
Our growth has not been in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, but down the road, I anticipate that it probably will be one day.
Very easy set up. The training is easy because there are multiple ways to access certain features. For example writing a check has two ways to access and once includes a keyboard short cut, which I love.
The budget report really helps us improve decision making on our financials and what to prepare for in the coming years. It's an easy budget set up and shows in dollar amounts and percentages of how much of the budget is used.
QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise desktop is so much better than QuickBooks Online.

It is exceptional in creating reports. We need to present financials to our board members so they see where we are in the year with the over-budget info in either dollars or percentages or both. It is also helpful if we want to do a comparison between years.
