Really Great Product to Handle All of your Bookkeeping Needs
Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Pro
We are a small to medium sized business that uses QuickBooks Desktop Pro for all of our accounting and bookkeeping needs. Our finance department is the main user of the program, but everyone in the management team accesses it for reports and tracking of financial metrics. The program has helped us keep our books and financial records in order.
Pros
- It is super easy to integrate with our business bank accounts.
- Our management teams loves the ability to access it from any device, at any time.
Cons
- In the past, we have felt that their customer service team should be more familiar with their own product. They weren't really able to see the product through the eyes of a user.
- Switching from the online version to the desktop version was not seamless. It took a little more effort than expected.
- It's freed up time and effort for our organization to dig into other challenges with our business. We now have more time to address those challenges.
- We are able to do more in-house instead of outsourcing some of our tax/financial management.
We tried out Zoho Books because we use Zoho for CRM purposes and we were were interested in exploring what type of integration there might be with our CRM to our financial books. However, we just found out that nothing really competes with QuickBooks when it comes to bookkeeping. One of the biggest differentiators was finding people who had experience with Zoho Books versus QuickBooks. So many people have experience with QuickBooks; we found very few who had experience with Zoho Books.
