Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

We use QuickBooks Online to sync with our invoicing software, track expenses, and link to our financial accounts. It's convenient because it's online instead of installed on a specific computer. This is important to us because we sometimes work remotely. It also integrates with other programs and apps we use for things such as payroll and time keeping.

Cons

  • The compatibility with other Intuit products isn't as seamless as you'd expect.
  • The security isn't as good as we'd prefer
  • Less software needed than at previous business
  • Saves times by integrating with our invoicing system
It's a very solid solution. The issues I've encountered with it are minimal and nit picky. It serves most small businesses very well and can save you a lot of time and money. It's a subscription based cloud solution, so you only get more features over time as they make it better.

It's great for a small business or individuals doing stuff like freelancing. However, it's probably not the best solution for corporate level companies with tons of employees and advanced data needs. You do need to double check that your data is syncing with other systems properly, so if too many people are managing it, things could be overlooked.
