Quickbooks Advanced, good software hopefully better in coming years.

Quickbooks Advanced is an all-in-one accounting solution that is cloud-based and solves many of the common accounting issues while also allowing you to integrate it with POS systems, eCommerce stores, etc. It's great for a smaller office environment as being cloud-based, it solves many IT issues, such as the configuration of a server. The reporting is good enough for most needs. It lacks features such as built-in shipping, which QB Desktop used to have.

The setup was pretty straightforward; we decided to go with a start-from-scratch approach as our QB desktop file was old and too cluttered with old customers that we no longer needed. Signing and granting rights took only a few minutes, which was great. The training was done in-house.

It's been great having QB online being in the cloud. The Cloud-based app you install is swift and snappy, making one think you are using locally based accounting software, not one that is gathering data from the cloud.

We had inventory issues; we have received many of them and are working on them. I feel there were some promises to Quickbooks Online that there would be more desktop features than were fully implemented. I think they will eventually add those features; the question is when.
