Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced

We use Quickbooks Online Advanced projects to cost associate each job. The individual projects profit & loss is a great function. I love that we can assign tasks to individuals and set up approvals for posting transactions of junior employees. We are able to utilize the estimates to progress bill. Having the amounts automatically deduct from the project helps to keep our progress billing clean and on track.

Pros

  • Batch invoices & expenses help expedite data entry

Cons

  • I wish we could batch download data for project estimates.
  • I wish we could flip estimates into purchase orders into the item details instead of category details
  • Time is money, having a quick and easy accounting software is great to help minimize the time spent organizing and recording cost/revenue in our projects.
It was very easy. There are many videos online that help to navigate the software. The online help function makes it easy to ask questions.
Being able to access my books from anywhere is very useful. There have been times I needed to look into something in an emergency and having the ability to log into the software has been amazing. I can check transactions and process payments from my home office, our work office or sitting at a starbucks.
Projects & Estimates feel like they were specifically designed for our business. There is a large need for cost accounting and progress billing in my company and if QuickBooks Online Advanced did not developed these features, we would have outgrown the software. I enjoy watching Quickbooks grow because they are always opening up new features that help to streamline our accounting process.

Quickbooks Online Advanced is useful in many different scenarios. It is helpful to keep things organized and neat. I am a big fan of the projects because you can cost account and list different P&Ls per project. Having attachments is very helpful to keep our source documents organized within our accounting software. Quickbooks Online Advanced is useful for companies that have many projects going at the same time because staying organized is easy.
