Overall Satisfaction with RealVNC
We use RealVNC on Windows/Linux servers that we support. On computers that don't have a human being using it 24/7 we need to have remote support whenever needed.
- RealVNC is very, very stable. Never dies or turns into a zombie. It just keeps going.
- I like that updates are rare. I feel that gives a feeling of stability.
- I like that RealVNC doesn't try to do too much. What it does, it does well.
- I'm not sure I can think of anything RealVNC could do better. It's a simple program that does what it does very well.
- Well, the cost of RealVNC is so minimal.
- ROI is practically immediate.
- No negative impact.
Screen quality compared to others like ScreenConnect, Bomgar, and others is not as good. But I don't need quality screens. I just need the minimal when connecting to servers so RealVNC fits that need very nicely.
