Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
Rippling is used for HR management (recruiting, referrals, time-off), basic org charts, benefits, IT devices and payroll. Providing management with an easy way to approve employees time-off and provide an intuitive ecosystem for all things not directly related to employees day-to-day responsibilities have proved to be something much needed. When an employee has issues using a platform for things such as payroll and requesting time-off, this always bubbles up to leadership and with Rippling, the UI makes it so seamless for users to be able to navigate and get what they need done, when they need done.
Pros
- The UI provides an intuitive, easy-to-understand application that is very cohesive and accessible whether on a mobile device, tablet or laptop.
- RPass makes logging in with shared accounts so seamless, preventing the need of sending around passwords that could lead to security issues.
- The My Pay section of the platform gives employees the autonomy they need to set up, manage, and stay up-to-date with their pay and taxes, giving the clarity and transparency that all employees should have.
Cons
- The single-sign on section of Rippling is a bit cluttered and finding which app can take a second if you have a lot.
- The log-out time for RPass seems a bit short as every time it is used, it seems as though you need to go back to Rippling to sign in to then go back to the page that you want to use it on. Furthermore, logging in directly through the extension would be a very nice-to-have feature.
- Being able to centralize most HR/payroll functions for employees and management versus having to deal with multiple platform to managing things has proven to be both monetarily beneficial in both reducing the number of services needed to be paid for, as well as reducing the time spent needing to navigate between platforms by management/employees.
