Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
We choose to use Rippling to connect all of the HR and IT systems internally. Honestly, it saves us the hassle of having to keep track of many systems and pieces of employee info. Payroll, benefits, logins, and even computer setup are all handled by Rippling for new hires pretty instantaneously. It makes offboarding easier as well. It also manages our payroll and benefits without any issues. We use it because it truly simplifies the entire personnel procedure.
Pros
- Onboarding and offboarding employees is easy and happens almost instantaneously when inputting a request.
- Payroll and benefits are handled seamlessly.
- The UI and UX of the platform feels and looks modern, and not like it was designed 25 years ago like most competitors.
Cons
- I think the customer support and service aspect has a long way to go. While most things can be handled by internal FAQs and answers, sometimes you need a live person to get things sorted and we had an incident where it took 2 months to get a W2 for a former employee corrected which we found ridiculous. But Rippling is also cost effective so I assume they are that cost effective since you sacrifice on customer support costs. Still not great though.
- We have had to spend 20 less hours a week as an HR and People team on manual tasks and get to focus on more goal-orientated items for our organization.
