Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
Rippling is the interface for employee onboarding, training (e.g., sexual harassment training), payroll management, and PTO for an organization of 40-50 people. In general, we use Rippling for as much as possible - the first step for deploying any new HR function is seeing if it can be integrated with or done through Rippling.
Pros
- Intuitive and streamlined interface for employee onboarding.
- Easy access to coworker PTO calendar and other contact information.
- All hiring, tax, and other HR related documents readily available for employees.
Cons
- PTO calendar exports as a large list of events added to and polluting personal calendar, rather than as a shared calendar which I can activate/deactivate as necessary. It is also a one-time export, so new PTO requests aren't reflected on my calendar.
- Login on mobile app can be unreliable and sometimes enters authentication loops.
- Healthcare/insurance integration is barebones, employees must fill many fields themselves.
- Individual contributor reviewing from the perspective of a recent hire using Rippling for onboarding and personal information management, no access to higher-level business objectives/metrics
