Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Intacct is an enterprise level general ledger accounting software. It has many features which are enough for most SMBs. Nevertheless, it needs to fix some minor issues to carry the user experience further on the positive side.
- A friendly User Interface. Excellent dashboard with stats. Simple and elegant navigation. Very intuitive custom reporting functionality. No need of any 3rd party support for fixing errors.
- Many options. It does AP, AR, and tax information. It is perfect for accounting needs. The 1099 section was very helpful.
- Easy to extract GL information
- Inexpensive
- Required integration with Revenue Recognition software
- Transaction description pulls into reporting
- Has a lot of very useful dashboards or real-time or point in time reporting. Has ways to interact with account data such as importing invoices from external systems.
- Customer service could be more knowledgeable at times. Can be difficult to get assistance outside of the normal day to day functionality.
- Difficult to get used to different views. Need to select top level or entity, and cannot toggle between entities while drilled into GL detail.
- Reports are not as user friendly as I originally thought. It will take trial and error to get the reports to look they way I need them to; the ones out of the box don't make sense to me.
- I had been scrambling to try to find an accounting software that was both functional for myself but also easy to understand for the rest of the office. For the price, I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised by its user interface and features. It was JUST the right amount of product for our small business.
Simplicity of setup and assistance from vendor was above and beyond what our team excepted - well worth having them onsite for final training and overall reporting and advanced feature overview.
Does everything an accounting/finance software needs to do, also ties in seamlessly with other commonly used softwares such as Concur and Salesforce.
Downloads to Excel work very well. The interface is intuitive and most functions are just a click or two away. They will work with you to get basic financial statements set up from the get-go.
