Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We are using Sage Intacct in more than 25 countries approximately - that connects us worldwide. It's very much user-friendly and very easy to learn. It makes accounting simpler and understandable. Though, we hardly use any template reports, still for any level users it is very well recommended.

Pros

  • GUI is very friendly
  • Accessible online anywhere. All you need is a laptop/computer/mobile & internet
  • Easily understandable and easy to learn
  • Support community helps with understanding and resolving certain issues

Cons

  • Accounts Payable Module should be equipped with multi-currency option to address the cases like where we booked accrual for certain vendor in USD, invoice received with EURO currency and payment to be made in GBP etc.
  • Project wise TBs should be made available to download in one click as it is there for entity level TB
  • Saves time and simple to use
Yes, the automation helps
We are mainly using project accounting and it really is helpful except Project Wise TB extraction in one click in a given period.
With experience
It was organization's choice always
It's well suited for multi-national companies especially where financials are closed/reviewed on monthly basis. It's not good where detailed reporting is required module to module however, the argument may be wrong as we see the ample space to customize it as per your requirement so at a broader level it's surely a recommended ERP.
