Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

It's been used across the whole organization to manage our financial operations. It helped address financial visibility, transparency, timely accounting and reporting as well us sharing budget vs. actual with all budget holders.

Pros

  • Cloud based hence accessibility from anywhere in the world
  • Multi-entity setup allows ease of global consolidation including intracompany transactions
  • Multi-currency setting which allows for recording expenses using actual transaction currency while the system converts using daily rate to arrive at the functional currency
  • Automating reports that go out as scheduled regularly

Cons

  • EFT or ACH processing with other banks other than just two
  • Allow expense approval at the Project level. The project dimension does not allow approval of expense which is not good
  • Automatic matching on bank reconciliations
  • Helped streamline financial operations
We have integrated Expensify and we are still exploring payroll, ACH/EFT and Fixed Assets
Sage was the best out of the box
