Sage Intacct Review by AL
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We are using Sage Intacct for all related accounting functions for our small sized company only in the accounting department. It helps us organize our functions. We use it to post bills, record payments, perform bank reconciliations, month-end duties, fixed asset monitoring, and analysis of financial reports.
Pros
- Ability to add attachments to entries for easy referencing and reduce paper filing.
- Multi-entity and single-entity features.
- User-friendly.
Cons
- Would be great if we can add attachments at the bill level not just at the purchase order level.
Being a new user of Intacct, I found the memorized and recurring functions for General Ledger entries incredibly useful for my vast month-end duties. Also, the ability to copy and duplicate previous entries helped save me time and improve efficiencies in my role. At the Accounts Receivable level, the option to set up revenue activation for invoices is incredibly helpful to stay aligned with the revenue matching principle.
I really like the multi-entity capabilities for the organization of costs and revenues for each entity. Overall, it has allowed us to stay more organized and our financials more accurate.
Sage offers more customizable features and provides more advanced features.
