Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is used by the finance and accounting department and was implemented when the company outgrew QuickBooks.
  • Smart rules are helpful when creating invoices.
  • Creating email templates is easy.
  • Not a lot of need to create custom reports because the pre-set ones meet company needs.
  • Not intuitive and very clunky.
  • System is not robust unless you pay for several add-ons which makes it feel like you're being nickeled and dimed.
  • Does not automatically post revenue recognition for prior periods once period is closed which adds manual work.
  • Automates processes.
  • Keeps data in one reliable place.
  • Provides reporting used for important business decisions.
Sage Intacct does not currently provide much automation to our current accounting practices.
Sage Intacct is better than QuickBooks but I prefer NetSuite to Intacct because it is more robust and does not require lots of add-ons.
Sage Intacct is better than Quickbooks but not as great as NetSuite.
