Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

I use it in Finance & Accounting, but it doesn't interact well with Salesforce or our internal PlatformOne system.

Pros

  • Ability to take payments without being complicated.
  • Ability to customize reporting.
  • Ability to customize user layout.

Cons

  • Adding the ability to add check copies to payments would be great.
  • If it allowed integration with salesforce & other systems.
  • A better collections module where a report can be run using customer notes would be most helpful.
  • It is an upgrade over QuickBooks (which was used before Sage Intacct).
  • It has been difficult to build reporting that easily accommodates multi-entity, multi-currency while providing me all the fields I require without using multiple reports to build my required reports.
  • There isn't a known report for collections that integrates customer notes to an AR Aging Report.

Sage Intacct is an upgrade from Dymanics, but not up to speed with SAP or Oracle.
It would be well suited for a smaller company or one that does not need to integrate with software such a Salesforce.
