Sage Intacct from a project manager perspective
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Sage Intacct as our financial management system (payments processing, staff timekeeping and expenses, project financials, and financial reporting). I use Sage Intacct for all of the above. I am a daily user of the payment processing section, and I would like to expand upon this a bit. Sage Intacct offers end-to-end integration for payments, beginning from vendor creation, to payment uploading, to reviewing payment reports. I find this most useful and largely error-free.
Pros
- Payment processing (esp. ability to duplicate similar payments)
- Staff timekeeping
- Project reporting
Cons
- Vendor creation module.
- Reporting module (can be more user friendly.)
- Overall, helpful tips can be added to the software to help new users. I learned mostly by trial and error.
- Time keeping has been on target
- We have been able to keep track of large payments through this
Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?
Yes
Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
As I have mentioned, I am not a finance user, and I did not participate in the selection process. I was using SAP at a previous organization. Although the two are quite similar in my experience, I believe Sage Intacct has an edge in terms of being more user-friendly.
