Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use it for GL accounting software and for financial statement consolidation and production.
  • Easy user interface.
  • Exports reports to Excel.
  • Has a consolidation feature.
  • Lack of controls common and necessary in accounting.
  • Difficult to edit the structure of the GL once set up.
  • Takes time to make changes to the structure in the system (new GL accounts or entities for reporting).
  • I would like reports of more varieties (account balances across time in the same report).
The AP module works well with Yooz invoicing service.
It's hard to make changes to our financial reports and account groups.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

No

Sage is a simple accounting software good for simple businesses. Beyond that, it can be difficult.
It's good for small businesses with little to no reporting requirements. It's not suitable for a rapidly growing company or one that wants to go public.
