Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct to support our clients. We are an Intacct partner and Var partner. We have many different clients in many different industries. I am a daily user, support other staff and train and support clients. My clients are in retail, family office and Healthcare. I love Intacct and am constantly learning new ways to simplify processes and improve efficiencies in the system.

Pros

  • Dimenisions and Account Groups
  • Reporting!!!!

Cons

  • Payroll
  • Accounts payable reporting
  • Budgeting has had a big affect on expense management
  • Cash management reporting has relieved a lot of stress on cash flow
We have used some of the general ledger features and are very excited and looking forward to the new accounts payable processes that are coming.
I have not had any experience with any of these modules yet.
I haven't had any experience with configuration as of yet.

Sage Intacct is far more robust and offers so many more options. My favorite thing about Sage Intacct is the financial reporting capabilities and the ability to make your own reporting. It is easy to learn and quick to set up new reports. There are many reports available but you can quickly design what you exactly need for your client.
I have a retail client in multiple states with multiple stores. We setup allocations that allow us to just select the proper allocation. Setup and it makes the coding of accounts payable and payroll so much easier. The use of dimensions and account groups allow us to make user defined reports and detail for each store location. Lots of flexibility.
