Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

It is a comprehensive accounting system with modules for all major components and advanced capabilities in certain areas such as projects, contracts, and so on. This product is versatile and allows us to deploy to companies in typically any industry. The use case is to manage the financial operations and record keeping of companies and provide for a tool to generate a variety of reports in managing a company.

  • Replicable processes and setup.
  • Efficiency from replicating with many customers.
Automation has benefited us in a way that everything is connected seamlessly. Since these processes are recurring on a regular basis and in a large volume, Intacct makes it easy by automating and providing a one-stop shop so you can focus on other areas that may be more complex.
The availability of multi-entity, multi-currency, global consolidations, project accounts, and contract revenue management is the advanced modules we have used and greatly benefited from. These are required to support more complex and larger organizations. These advanced tools have made the process infinitely better to manage and allow for customizability to each entity or company's specific needs.

They are both very comparable in price and offerings; it really came down to a better offer from Sage.
Intacct is great for tech and SaaS companies but tends to be less well suited for companies in manufacturing or that need to manage inventory within their accounting system. It is a great solution most of the time that allows for customization to suit a particular company's needs. It could be less appropriate for a company that has a very high volume of transactional data as the system is slowed down by the large amount of processing required.
