Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Our company uses Sage Intacct for our accounting system. We have a multi-entity organization that often makes inter-entity transactions and Sage Intacct has always made it very easy and straighforward to do so. We use Sage to store not only our regular general journal transactions but we also use the accounts payable module, accounts receivable and order entry. We invoice our customers in each entity from this software with no issue. It has always made it very easy for there to not be any confusion even when customers are being billed from different entities.
- Invoicing
- Bill Paying
- Inter-entity transactions
- Contract module is hard to work with
- The activation and inactivation of vendors, and what it does with entries
- Prepaid module is hard to work with
- Invoicing, which makes a direct impact on our cash. Has brought us millions of dollars.
- Keeping accountants organized
- Gave insight to our CEOs
We have definitely taken advantage of the automation that Sage provides. We have different APIs set up for many of our different entities to send usage to the software to be able to bill out. This reduces the amount of imports created every month. Not only do we use it for accouts receivable and billing, but we also use it in accounts payable with our AP sofware which is called Tipalti. There is direct syncing to the AP module for GL recognition.
We have used the multi entity and global consolidations. These are really helpful to our financial planning and analysis vice president as we can show our investors and CEOs our financials all rolled up. We also use the contract revenue recognition as we often sign customers up for our product with different sales tactics, but we need revenue to be recognized immediately.
