Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct as our book keeping system. The functions included are great with Cash Management, Account Payables, Account Receivables, General Ledgers, Consolidations, Fix Asset Ledgers, etc. With Sage Intacct, we can fulfill all the business needs we have. In general , We love Sage Intacct and it helps a lot for our business

Pros

  • Helping with cash accounts reconciliations
  • Helping with Account Payable(Bills) management
  • Seamless integration with our AP system Tipalti

Cons

  • The report builder's date and variance column are hard to use
  • Purchase Order report without showing the amount
  • Make our month end quicker
  • Intacct is a centralized place for our financials
  • Easy to update access
I think the automation works great and help us expedite the month end closing process. For example, it can auto populates the Dr/Cr directions and we can set bank rules when booking cash. Very useful tools for the book keeping.
We don't use much of these additional functionalities since we're a but now pay later company. But I can speak for multi-entity & global consolidations. The multi-entity & global consolidations helps us to keep everything separately but also in one place since we have different entities like in Canada, Europe, etc. It can help us look thing in a consolidated way as well as by its own currency
I didn't involve in this process so I cannot speak much on it. Sorry for that
Xero has limited functions and hard to use

If you're using it for book keeping, it's definitely a great software to use. It has anything you need, AP, AR, PO, Reporting, etc. But if you use it for a specific area, maybe it's better to have a specific area software and let it sync to Intacct. Overall Sage Intacct is good
