Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

I use this excellent program to prepare financials for my client who owns skilled nursing facilities. It is very helpful to organize what we need to do which is using it daily to book all invoices, incoming money, and any other journal entries. It is easy to add vendors and run reports, to create and customize what we need it to do.

Pros

  • fills in information
  • has shortcuts
  • makes sure no duplicates

Cons

  • 1099s are not so intuitive
  • cannot open 2 of the same report for different facilities
  • opening 2 instances is hard
  • ROI
  • Managing expenses
  • a report helped me catch a 50k mistake
Our organization has definitely benefitted from the automation of the accounts payable and and general ledger. It is very helpful when it fills out the other side of the entry and also the memos that I put in on one line and then the rest follow it. Also the fact that it puts in today's date is helpful. Also the shortcuts are very time saving.
I do not use any of these..
Although I am not the one who did it, it seems to me that it was pretty seamless for the one who did take care of it. It didn't take them long to get it all set up and I don't think they needed to be in touch the vendor for it as far as I am aware.
Sage Intacct is definitely superior to these. Stampli is used for invoice processing, it is good but limited, Intacct is definitely more powerful and includes many more services. Although I am not very familiar with Quickbooks, from the little that I saw, it is not nearly as detailed and user-friendly as Intacct is.

I think that Sage Intacct is very good for the healthcare sector, specifically skilled nursing facilities. It might not be necessary for a small business as it has many features that are more complicated. It is also very good for sending invoices from a processor into it, I'm not familiar if other programs have this capability.
