Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

SAP Analytics Cloud is used by us to prepare a 10 year and 5 year sales forecast and market segment growth. We use it to input data, compare with actual sales numbers and then take decisions based on the visualizations. SAP Analytics Cloud has improved our forecasting method and reduced complexity of handling multiple Excel sheets. We are using this service for marketing database, production planning and segmentation of customers.

  • Increases agility of business processes like forecasting
  • Simple User Interface
  • Big data management

Cons

  • UI has a scope of improvement
  • Buffering time was more for us
  • Can have simpler integration with other tools like CRM and Pricing Management modules
  • Price is not cheap
  • It has improved transparency of forecasting process
  • Improved involvement of colleagues with different access levels
  • Improved forecasting accuracy
Because it was easier and faster than the previously used tool. It also made work accurate. Quick changes are possible.
SAP Analytics Cloud stacks better with SAP ERP and this has improved its workability and accuracy.

It is well suited for annual activities like 5 year business planning but it is not a easy to handle software for daily sales tracking. There are better options available.

Evaluating SAP Analytics Cloud and Competitors

Since we had SAP ERP set up, it was not a difficult task to integrate this tool. Also, the other cheaper tools were tried and did not succeed in providing equal level of service as SAP.
