Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

I have been happy with the SAP Analytics Cloud. It has made accessible and powerful a way of looking at data that we didn't have before.

Pros

  • An analysis of SAP's Big Data in the organization is first carried out, which is followed by a discussion of SAP Analytics Cloud and its ability to help users visualize data in real time to allow for faster decisions when determining business strategies.
  • Advanced predictive capabilities help analysts make predictions and understand forecasts regarding future trends and outcomes based on the past data, which is a significant factor for proactive business planning.
  • The platform assures a 360 degree view of business performance by its integration capability with several data sources, both SAP and non SAP

Cons

  • Some features can be a bit complex to start with but are easy and require time and training to use them fluently.
  • While occasionally, with some more extensive datasets, you may get slower performance while analyzing it, which can be annoying when you need to make an important decision quickly.
  • Small businesses may find it costly to obtain licenses on account of the premium that goes with the full features provided.
  • Our strategic initiatives have benefitted from more informed decision thanks to the insights that were gathered.
  • The predictive analytics feature has enabled us to see emerging trends early and hence pivot our strategies ahead of time.
  • Through visualization of their data for departmental evaluations, we have created a culture of collaboration that pushes our business objectives forward.
SAP Analytics Cloud's usability would be a 9 on a scale of 1 10. The interface is pretty intuitive in most cases, however, some training of the user can really take it far.
In the past, I did a bit of exploring of tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI. However, these platforms have very good visualization capabilities, and SAP Analytics Cloud's integration with other SAP products is tightly woven and gives a very seamless experience that has made us choose SAP Analytics Cloud as our platform for comprehensive analytics. In addition, the features are more advanced in SAP, which gives us more information associated with future trends.
