Overall Satisfaction with SAP Litmos

SAP Litmos is implemented across the Travel Counsellor business for both our internal head office staff development. and more predominantly for both the onboarding and continuous professional development of our 2000 global franchisees who are spread across the globe in seven locations.
It is now the recognised point for learning and development across the entire business network and seamlessly manages both our digital onboard, instructor lead training and high-performance sales & service courses in one place.
  • Open access to the API is exactly what we need to link back the LMS data to business performance and allows us to see ROI.
  • An easy user interface for administrative duties means you don't require highly technical staff to manage content and make basic amends to the system.
  • So many great integrations and features across the platform with my favourite being the video assessments with AI analysis capability.
  • The open access to personalise more than just colours and logos with relatively open access to do your own custom CSS and HTML.
  • It's an off the shelf LMS, so impossible to do personalised development - for certain aspects you are reliant on their roadmap but generally the development has been excellent and rapid since the acquisition by SAP
  • Integration with Microsoft products such as Teams for hosting ILT's would be a beneficial for our business that does not use the current integrated webinar programmes such as Zoom.
  • Integration with SSO works but has thrown up a number of issues and workarounds along the way for us but some of this may be more down to Azure than the LMS in some instances.
  • We've been able to shorten our classroom induction period with a move to completely digital in the near future.
  • We've seen measurable ROI that shows and increase in sales and productivity by 18%.
  • Increased our induction NPS score above 90%.
Having reviewed our situation regularly in regards to ensuring our learners have learning tech at the bleeding edge, which goes for both an off-the-shelf LMS/LXP product and building a bespoke LMS system, SAP Litmos continues to be the best choice for our business model.
Off-the-shelf LMS systems all do the same functions pretty well in regards to hosting content, but the continued development of both the integrations & features make SAP stand out, alongside their easy to navigate platform - it also stands out as having an easy to administer from a back-office POV allowing a number of stakeholders to assist in the marking and ongoing development of content.

As I've already alluded to, both the front end-user experience and back end system are extremely user friendly and easy to navigate.
We implemented our original instance in 2017 and was a straight forward process for what became a complex matrix of users, teams and content.
As an LMS it is intuitive and has a user-friendly design for both the learner and the administrator, making it accessible for almost all learners. It was designed for learning predominantly so it's great for hosting content such as SCORM packages, videos, documents etc - but improved focus on using it as both a comms and community platform, as is becoming increasingly required within the L&D space, would be advantageous as the news and discussion forums are a bit underwhelming. But it's not its core purpose, so that's understandable.
The sheer volume of integrations and features that just keep coming, keeps its appeal and allows us to keep evolving the learner experience.
