We use SAP Sales Cloud to facilitate the lead to customer conversation process. It smoothly orchestrates each step of the process while validating checks along the journey.

The integration with ERP has been a tremendous value add in improving data quality and streamlining the workflow.
The tool is flexible and scalable to support our business users.
It’s very similar, but Salesforce has an edge on query capabilities and less reliance on custom code for enhancements with strong transport management.

For the utilities business, we had to custom build the lead to quote and customer conversion process. Hopefully BTP will offer apps that we can extend to our instance to maintain a more clean core model. It is well suited for customization, but that comes at a cost of technical debt.
