Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

We use ScreenConnect to manage our Windows end points remotely across our whole organisation, this helps us accomplish remote management and support in a quick and effective manner, while also giving us advance features such as running command line programs and seeing the last time the end point was seen online.
  • Agent is lightweight and very easy to deploy (able to generate custom MSI and exe install files)
  • Web interface for managing and accessing agents is simple and highly customization
  • Giving users the option to use a hosted cloud instance or run it on-prem using your own equipment
  • With the interface being highly customized it can look a bit drab if you don't skin it yourself.
  • SSL Proxies within an organisation can interrupt connectivity, remember to bypass IPs!
  • Decreased time spent on support calls
  • Increased IT confidence with problem resolution being quicker
  • Decreased money spent on a remote management solution
  • Priced correctly
  • Good support
  • Comes recommended online
  • Deployment options
  • Suited for where remote access is not on a static IP address as you'll get it to report back to a hosted node
  • Suited for where the customer does not have equipment to host its own on-prem server
  • Out of the box, it is not ready for non-IT literate people
  • Not suitable for networks with heavy filtering

Using ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

ConnectWise is a simple yet powerful remote access tool that can be used for managing your estate in the most remote locations or assisting with ad-hoc support when you never know who or what will need to share their screen with you. When it came to renewing our subscription to ConnectWise there was no question that I was going to renew without any fuss or hesitation.

Simple to use and highly customisable, which is exactly what I need when deploying remote access solutions across the world.
