Overall Satisfaction with ScreenConnect
We use ScreenConnect to support users of our software and to provide demos.
- Works with ConnectWise.
- Works well for both meetings and support -- without additional licenses.
- Allows the users to control when upgrades will take place.
- It does not lock the session or log out when connection is lost. You can end up with a computer with admin rights being freely available.
- The program does a poor job of organizing computers that can be connected to. It should at least allow the machines to be sorted by organization.
- It lacks a few bells and whistles that can be found in its competitors, but nothing that would be a deal breaker.
- We had been using other remote control programs, but their prices kept being raised and services restricted. The price for two users was about the same as one with the other guys.
- If you are not using remote control, you are wasting money and time. It pays for itself with one support call a month.
In our business, we don't have dedicated support techs. Often, we need to have different team members connect to clients based on skills and knowledge that only they have. The competition wanted to limit use to a single named user or computer.
