Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ScreenConnect to remotely access and troubleshoot IT issues with desktops, laptops, and Android mobile devices. It has helped us enhance our ability to quickly remediate an issue without sending someone onsite.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Remote access servers, desktops from a mobile device.
Reboot and reconnect back to the session automatically when back online.

Cons

I have had some trouble clicking in the remote session when remoting in from an Android device.

Return on Investment

It has definitely increased our ability connect quickly and remediate issues quickly saving us hundreds of production ours for our staff.

Alternatives Considered

For the money, ScreenConnect is the best remote access product in the market today. I have used others such as Logmein but they can't compete at ScreenConnect's current price point and the speed in which I connect is amazing. We needed a solution that also connected to Android devices so the ultimate reason we selected ScreenConnect was for the remote access ability and price point.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's perfect for a muti-office practice with locations all over the state as we can access any device that is online and if the agent isn't installed it's very simple to walk a user to connect ou through a remote session. This day in age, I can't think of any reason an IT department or IT company wouldn't utilize ScreenConnect. The pricing is on point.
