Overall Satisfaction with Semrush

Semrush is a tool I use daily for SEO research. I love how much data I'm able to sort through and use for website and blog growth. I haven't found anything else like it for finding high-quality keyword research.
My company is small so I use it myself to make decision.

Pros

  • Keyword Research
  • Competitive Analysis
  • Backlink Gaps

Cons

  • It would be nice to be able to track a specific URL and have that saved so I can go back and look at specific pages I want to follow, not just highest traffic or top keywords without haveing to go to the next level. Post tracking is limited to 3 at the first level.
  • Pricing is on tiers, so some features just are out of reach for a small company.
  • It has a bit of a learning curve so if you aren't ready to learn it, you might not use it.
  • Using the Domain overview for specific posts we are able to see keywords, optimize the posts and create better content. We have seen posts grow 10x because of this.
  • We have been able to sort 100,000's of keywords quickly and find the hidden keywords.
  • We have been able to find competitors in the niche and see what is working for them and why. It is helpful to see the "lay of the land".
Semrush is full of detailed information that I haven't found on Ubersuggest, Keysearch, Google Ads or others.
When looking for keywords that are higher volume and low competition, I just haven't found anything else that does the job like Semrush.
Plus, I can save my lists of keywords and then come back to them for the future.

Yes, I already recommend it to others who are bloggers as they focus on growing traffic and SEO is the best way to grow your site organically. Keyword research is very important to bloggers who are trying to reach specific pageview numbers and without good solid, keyword research it will take a very long time.

Semrush Support

I'm in a FB group for Semrush paid users and it amazing! They are fast to respond, take suggestions and help with questions. I have not felt alone in using this product at all. Highly recommend their support team. When I had an issue I can jump into the group and they will help get me the right person to help or even tag their programmers to look at something that is going on. Love the group!

No, just the support that comes with the product and in the FB group which helps whenever there is a problem. It has not [been] hard to get help or have someone answer questions that I have about how something is work on my end of things. They have been great.
I've had lots of questions and they are very quick to reply with a blog post that answer what I need. I find this to be very valuable because it helps me understand the problem in context also.
