Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring
We are an agency using SharpSpring for our clients. Our primary objective is to bring our clients into compliance for our new email law (CASL) but we have used the full on marketing automation and CRM for all clients to date. Tracking of data in real time is a key element of proving opt-ins under CASL. SharpSpring is exceptional at that. There were NO SURPRISES. What we signed on for is what we received. All promises were kept.

Infusionsoft was much more difficult to use. SharpSpring is simple yet powerful. It is visual so my clients can see what is going on at all times. Things just seem to be where you think they are and support is ready and waiting if we have any questions. As a small business person, any solution I have to go for 3 days of training for is far too complicated for us and our clients.

We were looking for a solution that solved our CASL compliance factors. CRTC has clearly stated the PROOF of opt-in or engagement is firmly on the organization. In other words, if someone is on your email list you must understand how they came to be on it and what type of consent you have to email each individual. SharpSpring excels at this.
I might have asked more questions about deliverability of their email engines and process. We were using Campaign Monitor and were very happy with their email performance, but they did not have automation. They have since added it, but their pricing model is not practical for the way we go to market.

Yes - As our primary application was CASL compliance we wanted to learn list management and email marketing functions first. As soon as we had clients up and running there was immediate demand for the automation (workflows) A/B testing, CRM and using SharpSpring to help capture and nurture sales leads. We implemented phase 2 in order to better understand the full on marketing automation platform.
Change management was a small part of the implementation and was well-handled - We have never offered this service to our clients and we were a little nervous about doing so. Out clients expect us to be up to speed on all things digital marketing and we knew we were going to have to pick a marketing automation platform sooner or later. We are very glad we waited until we found SharpSpring

I am not clear what SMTP, Inc does therefore it is a difficult question to answer. I believe SMTP, Inc was an early partner with SharpSpring, providing full on email engines and support for the marketing automation platform, but is no longer a SharpSpring partner, allowing them to improve their email deliverability. I am not positive about this...

Yes - SharpSpring is responsive so the 50% of our email users who open their email while mobile, they have a good experience and can read what our clients are sending. Their app allows us to see what is going on with our leads and follow up on tasks and activities assigned to us.
