We use Sharpspring for two purposes: 1. to communicate with our current customers about new products, updates and sales. 2. To market to prospects, inform them about us and to have them become customers. It is used across the whole office for any types of communication. It is our main marketing platform and has helped us increase our sales and add over 50 new retailers so far.
- Very easy to create emails. It is easy to upload photos.
- The reports we get are extremely helpful. It has helped me craft better emails and headers as well as better predict the responses to the types of products.
- Data uploads are easy.
- Setting up automation flows are very intuitive.
- The templates are good, but some more flexibility in customization would be great for those of us who are not programmers.
- We have been able to add over 50 new retailers in the first year alone.

I came from a Marketo organization. It is a very dynamic platform, but for a company our size and budget, it was way out of the park.
We also considered HubSpot, which is also a very good platform, but it likes itself a lot! SharpSpring worked better with our budget and time frame for implementation.

Price was a top consideration, but not the only one. I came from a Marketo environment and oversaw the implementation of the platform. It is a great product, but very complex. We hired a consultant to assist us to get it up and running in a 30-day time period. It is also expensive and there is a lot of training.
With SharpSpring it was loaded up in a very short time. It was easy to set up the scoring system and the templates make it very easy to start a campaign. Additionally, it is very price-competitive.
