Overall Satisfaction with Skype

Skype is the main international communications utility we have been using to communicate with our partners and customers abroad, especially when we need to share our screens to present and collaborate.
  • Screen sharing
  • International phone calls
  • Syncing with Bluetooth hearing devices can be smoother
  • Screen sharing on low bandwidth gets stuck sometimes and requires us to restart the call
  • Saves money for international calls
  • Saves time using media sharing features
Skype is much easier to use than the rest, most users are already familiar with it and have it installed, and doesn't require any special instructions to use (unlike other tools such as Join.me), and is much more stable than Zoom, for example. In addition, it allows us to use it as a normal phone number - which the others don't offer as a feature.
We have never used Skype's support. Everything works great.

Would you buy Skype again?

Yes

Skype is a great tool to collaborate while working with international team members overseas. It [allows] us to create international presentations (or even local but remote ones), to share our screens to go over bugs or to share design ideas, and makes all of our communication easier. Skype is also used by us for regular phone calls using VOIP and saves us a lot of money for international phone calls.
