Overall Satisfaction with Skype
We have had to use it and set it up for other users outside the district. We have incorporated more Microsoft Teams into most of our online corroboration. But there are still staff members that need to have a call set up with a third party. But with so many other options out there. I feel Skype has lost it's edge.
- Ease of Use
- Trusted Name
- Recognized
- User interface is easy to use
- Seems clunky at times
- As lost it's step
- Old is not always better
- Can seem sluggish
- Name recognition with being trust
- Many people love the tried and true
- Ease of use, people learn how to use it quickly
- Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Discord
Mostly security reasons and focused on doing one thing well. People know the name and the ring of Skype. One of the best and longest in the business. Caters to much of the older generation due to longevity. Older generations like tried and true and often shy away from the new kid on the block, and the learning curve.
