User friendly and great connectivity - 10/10

Overall Satisfaction with Skype

Due to covid-19, we had to implement many online strategies in order to communicate. Skype allowed us to schedule meetings with people in our department and across other departments, as well as those who are not in the office or cannot come to meet in person. Now we can continue using Skype to expedite meetings without meeting in person.

Pros

  • Expedites meeting scheduling now that it can all be virtual.
  • Many people from different locations can get on a call more easily without the hassle of traveling.
  • Very user friendly!

Cons

  • I’d like to see a feature where you can do interactive presentations - unless this has already been implemented within the past few months that I have not used it!
  • Some connectivity issues.
  • Other than that I don’t see any other improvements needed since this already helps our team tremendously.
  • It has expedited our contracting time where before things were typically in person or over the phone. This allows us to solidify contracts for our events weeks earlier than before.
  • No negative impacts that are applicable.
  • Allows employees to get the most out of their working hours by fitting more schedules and calls in.
It’s extremely user-friendly. Truthfully I use multiple different applications that serve similar purposes depending on what our partners are familiar working with. Skype has had pretty dependable connectivity compared to others I’ve used. Also very simple to set up and share meetings. I will definitely continue to utilize Skype when needed.

Skype is best suited now more than ever across many different purposes. I think it’s allowed people to realize how easily we can all communicate from where we are at any time within our working hours. It allows us to get the answers we need for meetings, presentations, interviews, and more way quicker than ever before.
