Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business

Our company is geographically dispersed globally. Communication, as we all know, is essential, and doing so while also being able to "see" everybody provides a near-real experience of everyone being together - the visual body language, the camaraderie, etc., - that goes a long way toward cementing a team orientation and culture.

Pros

  • Better cooperation as a result of visual queues.
  • Greater sense of being together.
  • It beats simple audio communications.

Cons

  • Really can't think of any - our company absolutely loves it!
  • Can't even calculate the value - travel costs saved, loss of participation, etc. There is no better, more efficient alternative if you are not all in the same place at the same time.
I've used a few, mostly due to others selecting them. They made no impression so can't even remember their names.
Anytime you can't all be together, it bridges the geographic gaps.
