Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business

It's being used across the entire organization as our instant communication tool. We're also using it for conference calls with its VOIP system.
  • It integrates with all conference room configurations so it's a seamless bridge with people from various locations.
  • The chat feature makes it easy to share messages as well as large files quickly.
  • It's universal, meaning most people have it installed.
  • The connection is dropped a third of the time, though this might be due to weak internet connection.
Skype for Business is well suited for conference bridges with employees in many different locations. It's well suited for video conferences as well and works very well in a large office setting for instant communication. It's also very well suited in a marketing function, where many creative assets are shared across chat many times a day. It's probably less appropriate for businesses that don't work in a typical office setting - i.e. with desktops rather than mobile phones/tablets/more BYO - because many colleagues have mentioned it's not great for keeping in touch on the go.
