Overall Satisfaction with Slack
Slack is used throughout the whole company as a way of communicating with everybody in a quick way. Easy to use and allows everybody in different departments to have their own channels to communicate in without involving the whole company. Honestly, the best communication software I have ever used in a work setting.
- Easy to communicate.
- Simple to find everybody in your network.
- Use of gifs and emojis is absolutely hilarious.
- Love that the color schemes can be changed to user's preference.
- Should be able to see old messages after 30 days.
- Notifications should go out when new message is posted in group chats, not just when mentioned.
- The notification noise is something I wish I could turn off.
- Made it much easier to solve issues quickly without waiting to get a call or email back from somebody.
- Enough privacy to speak to management about private issues.
- Makes it easier to connect with peers without having to share personal information like phone numbers.
