Overall Satisfaction with Slack
Slack is being used across our organization. It helps ensure that our teams and ICs are aligned and in communication at all times. It also helps us organize notes/updates/questions/issues by the customer, topic, and more.
- Slack is very intuitive. It's easy to learn and easy to use.
- The integrations are seamless and make life much easier.
- The UI is easy on the eyes and enjoyable to work in.
- Notifications can be customized to make sure you see messages when you need, and don't when you don't want to.
- Stacking multiple "workplaces" allows you to connect with multiple networks within a single app.
- Workflow [automation is] very powerful and helps simply otherwise messy/manual processes.
- Very powerful search function, able to easily find anything you're looking for.
- Copy/pasting text from slack can sometimes have weird formatting to it. Forces you to paste without formatting which can remove formatting that you want to maintain. By default, when you comment on a thread, it opts you into notifications for future comments on that thread. Would be nice to have this default to opt-out, and have the choice to opt-in instead.
- It has allowed our org and previous [organizations] I've worked to continue collaborating and maintain team efficiency as we were forced to start working remotely.
- Integrations with Google, Zoom, and other tools save previous time
