Overall Satisfaction with Slack

We use Slack for group communication- we have a large clinic (both in the number of employees and physical space). Having Slack allows for a more efficient means of communication.

Pros

  • Set-up of channels
  • Efficient communication
  • User friendly settings

Cons

  • Only hate that we have to pay to utilize more functions (but I get it)
  • Only able to see last 90 days with unpaid version
  • Efficiency- allows for better communication
  • Memory- we can pop information in there that we can easily refer back to
Use friendly, generally easy set up
We previously used a service called LanTalk. Slack offers more options and is more user friendly.

It's very easy to use and simply makes it easy to create specific channels for specific people/staff members to make it even more efficient and not sending messages to every single person- only those necessary.
