Overall Satisfaction with Slack

We use Slack as a media of communication between the team I am currently in a hybrid company so to stay connected with colleagues and for meetings we use Slack. Slack is very easy to use and we can also do huddles which is like a meet. We can do one-to-one and team meetings on Slack for the distribution of client work as well as problem-solving which we are facing in the completion of work.

Pros

  • We can create a canvas so we do not have to create notes of the meetings and like if the person with whom you are doing chat can also put his inputs on the same canvas.
  • We can collaborate with our teams very well and if we face any problem we can connect one-to-one or we can tag any particular member to point out to whom we are assigning the task.
  • If we want to connect we don't have to use Google Meet and Zoom. We can directly call the team member as well as whole team can be connected on Slack for updates and solving the problem if any of the team member is facing it.

Cons

  • Sometimes Slack sends delayed notifications which will impact our work as well as give a bad impression on our team.
  • If it can give noise cancellation and background for video calls it will be much better.
  • We can say if you are investing in Slack, it is a very good investment. You will get good productivity from teams so it is worth it to invest in it
  • We now don't have to subscribe to Google and Webex for long meetings; we can use Slack instead, which also helps us save money and time.
  • It is increasing the efficiency of employees and resolves issues faster so we don't have to schedule calls. With a single click you can connect with anyone. Its canvas can helps to distribute the tasks very well. By using that no team members have conflicts of work.
I am giving this rating because I am satisfied with the service, and overall, Slack is a very good communication platform that increases the efficiency and productivity of team members. It reduced the time for collaborating with internal teams as well as with the clients. It is improving day by day and you have multiple templates for your everyday tasks so it will reduce your time and increase productivity.
Because in Slack, we can use all this in a single interface, we don't have to open multiple workspaces, and we can do all the tasks in a single interface. Also, we don't need to send the invites. We can directly do voice and video calls. So Slack is cheaper than other platforms and its feature is much better.

We are using it from the start. It is very well suited to us. We can collaborate one-to-one as well as the whole team in a single chat. Its canvas is a very good feature, we can share resources and notes and we can also do weekly sync. It also provides the prebuild templates, so by using it, we are increasing our productivity. We do not have to send meeting invites with Slack. With a single click, we can connect with our team members. It will save time and resolve the problem faster
