Overall Satisfaction with Smartsheet

We use Smartsheet in multiple applications:
  • Task tracker including input from online forms.
  • Project management planner and dashboard.
  • Intuitive dashboard system support builder.
  • Team Collaboration Tools - permission based.
  • Data security.
  • Customer support and service
  • Limited functionality
  • visibility and user experience
  • Cyber security.
  • Ease of use.
  • User collaboration.
  • We found users weren't as keen on adopting the tools built with Smartsheet.
  • We lost time manually updating matrices affecting dashboards due to lack of functionality.
  • We had to dedicate resources to maintaining those tools.
Jira is better on user interface and task tracking. However the dashboard isn't as versatile as on Smartsheet. That being said, it takes maintenance to keep the Smartsheet dashboard updated regularly (not automated).

Overall it's a decent app. We found quite a bit of an issue trying to use their gaant template when it comes to functionality and what this tool can and can't do. Some aspects of this tool are limited (even to the more advanced accounts). Their support agents were not able to help us when it came to templates.
