Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SolarWinds Access Rights Manager (ARM) is a large part of our user access monthly reporting review meetings, where we validate user onboards/offboards and confirm that the work has been completed accurately. It also helps us validate that no access changes have been made in error or without approval. Reports are easy to manage in an excel format across multiple teams in our organization.

The tool has saved time to make changes to users access via the template upload. Best feature by far
Being able to generate quick reports on access levels across the organization has been used multiple times to deliver information to leadership meetings

Usability

The GUI is pretty straight forward and easy to learn for new employees. All changes that have been made over the years have not required additional training. Reports generated are easily viewed in Excel, and can be added into our reporting file seamlessly

Vasion Print, SOTI MobiControl, Microsoft Exchange, Autodesk Docs, Bluebeam, Mimecast Advanced Email Security and Cisco Duo

I would say SolarWinds Access Rights Manager (ARM) is on the high end of the scale in terms of ability and being user friendly. Very few issues, limitations - The product delivers on a great ticketing system! Love it!

uploading the template to make updates/changes to users access is a great tool, quick and easy to use.

The monitoring tool is less used, as generally there are not many scenarios where someone is trying to gain access that shouldn't have access already - There are other tools already in place to prevent users from getting to this point.
