Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Did a POC using it to monitor some of our mission-critical applications and servers. Helped reduce response time to outages.

Pros and Cons

Set up is quick and easy.
Lots of included application and infra templates.
AppStack infrastructure mapping feature is cool.

Not really for huge environments.
Upgrades are a hassle and are VERY time consuming.

Return on Investment

Overall positive.

System Center Operations Manager, WhatsUp Gold and PRTG Network Monitor

Likelihood to Recommend

For small to medium environments, or for monitoring specific sets of applications/infrastructure, it's a great product. For large datacenters, this may not me the tool.
