Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
Splashtop was used by the organization as a lightweight remoting software tool. This tool was used as a means to remotely and securely access PC's to troubleshoot issues. Due to the ease of installing this program, we were able to push it out remotely and easily access a user's computer whenever needed. This allowed us to perform our duties even when employees worked remotely.

- Not as feature rich as other remoting softwares
- Did not automatically update
- Allowed increased remote work productivity
- Allows for low-worry travel or out-of-office demands
Besides administrators, users did not have accounts for Splashtop. Our company did not utilize two-factor authentication for this software. Overall, it was secure and end-to-end encrypted. Without user accounts, there was less of a breach risk. Email notifications were issued to every account administrator for every new device added or account change.
Splashtop was extremely easy to set up. Once purchased, they make an company specific installer available on their portal for download. This installer is silent install compatible and extremely easy to roll out remotely. Once rolled out, the software worked seamlessly. The rollout of this software was quick and easy compared to competition.
